snelkoppelingen werken niet meer

Hallo allemaal,
hoop dat jullie raad weten,en bedankt voor het snelle aktiveren
Ik wilde dus een homepage maken,weet er totaal niks van af,dus programma en boekje gekocht,websites maken voor kinderen
Daar zit een cdrom bij met netscape navigator,die heb ik er al vrij snel afgegooid
Maar nu werken mijn snelkoppelingen niet goed meer,krijg dan een scherm met welk programma te openen,en dan klik ik internet explorer maar aan
Startpagina heb ik wel weer ingesteld
Vreemde is,dat als ik een link in mijn mail krijg waar ik normaal gesproken gewoon op klik,die nu niks meer doet
En ik kan wel 20 vensters open hebben van internet explorer
Mijn snelkoppelingen zien nu ook vreemd uit,een pomp met een slang erom zo ongeveer.
Oeps,en dat beetje homepagina wat ik voorheen had heb ik ook nog uitgeveegd

Many problems that may occur with Netscape are due to a corrupt file in the Netscape install. If your Netscape is not working, but other Internet software is (i.e. Microsoft Internet Explorer), then it is often easiest to try a reinstall. Before you proceed make sure you have a Netscape install program (either your Sympatico disk or a downloaded version of Netscape). If you want to download Netscape click here. Before proceeding, you should back up your Mail, Bookmarks and Address Book(s) if you have any you want to save.


Go to Start
Go to Settings
Click Control Panel
Double click Add/Remove Programs

Locate Netscape or Sympatico in the program list
Click it to Highlight it
Hit the Add/Remove button
If you have more than one version listed there, remove each one

The screens for uninstalling Netscape vary from version to version, so just follow through them in order and tell it to remove everything
You will first be asked if you are sure you want to uninstall Netscape
Click Yes
You may be asked if you want to do a custom or automatic uninstall
Choose automatic
When it is finished the Control Panel will reappear

Even though Netscape has been uninstalled, all of the files in your profile folder are still there
If the problem is related to your preferences files, your cache files, or others it will not go away if you reinstall Netscape at this point
You should first remove your profile folder to get rid of these files
Before proceeding, make sure you have backed up any important data (i.e. e-mail, address books, and bookmarks)
After doing your backup, open Windows Explorer
To do so, right click the My Computer icon and click Explore in the drop down menu

Browse your way in Explorer to your Netscape directory
It is usually located in C:\Program Files\Netscape or C:\Program Files\Sympatico
Highlight the Netscape or Sympatico directory and hit the Delete key on your keyboard
Say Yes or Yes to All when Prompted
Caution: If you have downloaded the Netscape install program, make sure it is not under the Netscape folder. Save it to the Desktop when downloading, so you don't accidently delete it when deleting the Netscape folder.


Still in Windows Explorer, scroll down on the left side and locate the Windows directory
Click on it to highlight it
On the right side, locate the file called nsreg.dat (you may not see the .dat part)
Click it to highlight it and hit the Delete key on your keyboard
Close Windows Explorer

You have now completely removed Netscape from your system
You now need to install it again using your Sympatico kit or a downloaded version
Once you have reinstalled it you will need to create a profile
Once you have created a profile, you need to restore you bookmarks, address books, and e-mail

Die tekst is trouwens niet van toepassing. Hij gaat over een beschadigd gedeelte in Netscape navigator. Aangezien je die verwijderd hebt is dat niet meer van toepassing. Het verwijderen van Netscape is niet helemaal goed gegaan, dus gaan we eerst onderstaande maar even proberen :

Omdat je netscape hebt verwijderd weet windows niet meer welk programma geopend moet worden bij bestanden die openen met een browser vereisen. Waarschijnlijk is het enige wat je moet doen, Internet explorer weer als standaard browser instellen.

Hoe je dat doet :
- Klik op start
- ga naar "instellingen"
- klik op "configuratiescherm"
- Dubbelklik op het icoontje "internet -opties"
- Ga naar het tabblad "Programma's"
- Zet een vinkje bij "Controleren of internet Explorer de standfaard browser is"
- Klik op de knop "Toepassen" en dan op "OK"
- Open je internet explorer
- Je krijgt dan de vraag of IE je standaard browser is. Klik op "Ja"

Vanaf dan moeten je browser snelkoppelingen weer werken.
